Operation GEquipmenT

Operation GEquipmenT is an initiative that was birthed through passion to reach out to orphans and less privileged including human trafficking victims and domestic violence victims through skill acquisition programmes that will ultimately enhance the quality of lives of these children.

We set out to raise funds to move the vision of the initiative through a rally and a car wash fundraising program on the 26th of January and 2nd of February respectively.

The initiative was launched on the 13th of April, 2019 at the Ark Orphanage, Ikota, Akure, Ondo State. We started with 5 skills (Graphics design, instrumentals,visual arts, bead making, wig making) and 20 children. It was a very productive and impactful programme as the children picked up fast and came up with beautiful products.

Especially the children in the graphics design class, they came up with a very beautiful design in less than an hour. This was really encouraging as it is a step to fulfilling the vision of the programme.
